Prayer of the YearGood Saint Anne, mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus, we pray and trust in you.
We
thirst for happiness, love and sharing, and so does the world at large.
Although there are many streams from which we may quench our thirst,
through you we renew our faith in God who is always true to his Word.
Like the Good Samaritan we ask that you intercede on our behalf by asking the Father to "provide us with living waters".
May
our families, young people and the sick be refreshed and our thirst for
the absolute satisfied, so that we may in turn be living waters for all
whom we will encounter.
