A pilgrimage to the Shrine is a privileged moment during which, through the intercession of Saint Anne, one is invited to encounter Christ the Redeemer. It is Saint Anne's role to lead us to her grandson, Jesus. In fact, the most important pilgrimage activity is the Eucharistic celebration, the moment in which Jesus Himself comes to meet us, to bring us the Good News of his Word, and to share with us the Bread of Life.
